I have been running an online store through the Shopify platform for more than 10 years, in fact that was how I first got interested in front end web design. This is how it is currently set up. The design was created by using a basic free template and then adapting it to meet my personal requirements.

I sell a lot of colourful products like silk scrunchies so I kept the design as simple and clean as possible, using white and pale grey shades to help the products leap off the page.

The shop website uses a simple path to purchase. The landing page has a full width opening image with navigation to the different collections along with featured products.

The greatest focus is given to the images of the products themselves in a clean and easily navigated layout. The collection pages show all the products in a particular category in 3 columns. Each product then has a page with extra images and a product description. An add to cart button is displayed with payment options payment optons.
